Brief de Design de Logo

We are at a historic moment in the movement for democracy in the nation’s capital. Residents of Washington, D.C. have been fighting for equal rights and voting representation in both arms of the United States Congress since 1787. The only way to achieve full democracy for residents of Washington, DC is through statehood for the district. Our immediate goal is to raise national awareness, build support and generate momentum around our call for statehood by engaging voters through a multifaceted national campaign.

The logo will help unify our campaign, amplify our message and be a distinct feature to help obtain new allies in our effort to build support nationally and in key Congressional districts and states in our push with congressional leaders to make Washington, D.C. the 51st state.

We are looking for new logo design submissions for the Washington, D.C. Statehood campaign. Logo designs should incorporate the following elements:
- DC’s Flag (2 horizontal bars with 3 stars above)
- DC Flag colors (red & white) + blue
- Map of Washington, D.C.
