We need a logo design for a new young person's emporium of inspirational and motivational clothing and products and resources. It is based in the UK but with global appeal the organisation is aimed at making young people feel good about themselves. The tag line is #Living to be me. The products all carry with them a red stud (which will be stamped with the logo) which is a physical reminder that it is OK to feel what ever emotion you feel - it just does not have to define you (i.e. it can be contained). The sea, beach, ocean, waves, creatures, myths, skyline, ships, sailing, palm trees, anchor. Poseidon, fish, etc are the key theme as all will relate to these things e.g.. Beach Walk and Talk, Waves of Wellbeing, Depths of Ocean Depths of Emotion. The colours are turquoise and red. I want the logo to be fresh, modern, easily recognisable, young. Tending towards script for the text - and I also want an image that can be used with the text and on its own. This image will be carried on some products once the name is known. I am tending now towards a compass (guiding and direction) which is interlinked with text Ocean Red. I like circles but can be flexible. I also want it to match with #Living to be Me - so all three elements can work together and on their own. Simple, easily identifiable and dynamic. I would like to communicate emotional safety, control, guidance, freedom, community spirit, life, living. Living to be Me!
Thank you to those who have contributed to the designs. I am wanting to catch the youth markets - therefore the designs have to be simple and catchy - I want them to be doodling the image.
