Brief de Design de Logo

Having seen the designs already submitted based on my initial brief below - I am now leaning towards a simple design on a solid circle shape with a Data for Policy .org as the text inside.

The challenge is then to choose a statement font on a solid background, and also choose between alternative colours - this would still satisfy the continuity with our current logo obviously - http://dataforpolicy.org (moving the existing text into a yellow solid circle for example - Gotham bold is the font type in the original logo)

Please also count for potential uses as social media icons; dark - light and cluttered backgrounds etc.

We have an accidental logo that we have been using over the past three years and it has gained quite wide recognition. However, since it was not originally created as a logo it introduces some complications when designing other products - e.g. it is three colours overlapping (white, amber, and black) which creates an issue when two colours is the default design option.

So we want to update this existing logo to make it more practical. This will also allow us to make a new start with a fresher image, yet maintaining a continuity with the previous version since it has got wide recognition already.

I am attaching some files for you to see the current logo and other related associated brand designs - please also have a look at our website (dataforpolicy.org) to see more information about our activities etc.

It can be only the "Data for Policy" and/or the website address "dataforpolicy.org" that can be used on the new logo. It can also be two complementary designs that can be used interchangeably.

I am excited about possible designs you will come up with.
