Brief de Design de Logo

We need a great logo designed for a tech company called Halyard Technologies. This company is an IT company, helping companies with their IT needs, such as servers, computer support, cyber security, and more. Frame the design from a standpoint of strength and security but also incorporate elements of halyard (nautical). Examples would include: sails, anchor, rope, block and tackle.. etc... be creative. We're looking for a design that's creative and able to stand on its own, with or without text. But of course we need the text option also!

I think initially designs should not include blue as a primary design color because this company is a wholly-owned subsidiary in a small collection of companies, some of which use the color blue predominantly in their logos. I'd like to see the color be virtually anything except blue.

Halyard (pronounced hal-yerd) is a nautical term that refers to the rigging/ropes used on any sailing ship.
