Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a premium functions and events centre in Melbourne. I've attached the existing "the orchid room" logo and its horrible.
I want something refined, elegant and beautiful. We will be targeting weddings so I'd like it to appeal to that sort of market. I like the idea of having some orchids in the logo.
I'm attached some other examples from around the world that use orchids. I’m open to different colours, but I think probably black and white with a small splash of colour would work best. I think a splash of gold would be best.
