Brief de Design de Logo

I am looking for a logo design for a new home building company. I'm looking for a logo that can eventually be branded on its own but that will obviously go well along with the company name. The logo should be simple, have 2 to 3 colors and no castles please! I'm open to colors, but I'm looking for something with a classic, established look vs. anything random or too colorful.

I'd like to see the logo positioned on top or to the left of the company name in the final layout, but am open to other layouts if they work.
