Brief de Design de Logo

Hi Design Team,

An update on what I am looking for. My previous brief still applies and I am looking for original ideas. However I have attached a few pics of industry leaders in the coffee market to give you a better idea of what I am after. You will notice that there is no emphasis on images of beans or coffee.
Attached are images of takeaway cups, coffee canister & hessian bag. These are the sorts of things the logo will be going on.

Hi Design Team,

Your brief, should you choose to accept it, is to design - another coffee brand logo. But not just any coffee brand logo ... well maybe but this one is for me, so it matters to me and my customers. So the brief is to do a kickass, best ever coffee brand logo.

Arabica Coffee is located in Brisbane, Australia (don't think kangaroos, think urban sprawl) and has been roasting specialty coffee since 1988 (don't want that in the logo). As you can see from the old logo (don't laugh - that wasn't me in 1988) it needs a serious revamp and so we are asking YOU to help (Obi Wan Kenobi you are ....). You know we need your help.

Just as a heads up the word "Arabica" is a species of coffee which generally denotes high quality, grown at altitude in the tropics.

I have no pre-conceptions about how the logo will look or feel. It can use simply the word "Arabica" or if it looks and feels better "Arabica Coffee" or "Arabcia Coffee Roasters". It can be letters only, pictorial, emblem, abstract, whatever you think. Imagine the coffee brand you would like to drink. That's the brand we want to be. I know coffee brands are a dime a dozen so I am interested in the original content of your minds eye. Let it loose. IKIWISI!!!

• Thanks for letting me know what I'm not after with your first responses and I apologise to those who have done this but appreciate you leading the way.
• The name of the brand is "Arabica" but I'm not looking for designs with Arabian scripts and connotations. In coffee the word "Arabica" is synonymous with quality coffee. Basically it is a brand of coffee called "Good Coffee". I want the logo to go a step further and communicate "Best Coffee".
