Brief de Design de Logo

Create a logo for a new furniture brand we are launching. We are an 80 year old furniture manufacturer in located in the US. We have always produced great quality seating that has sold under our customer's brand names. We are launching a direct to market brand. The brand is all about 1) Quality, 2) Manufacturer Direct 3) Empowering customers with more choice and integrity in how we do business.

The brand is called TxTuR The name comes from a play on several words and context.

1) Texture - is a huge part of design. The mediums we work in: wood, fabric, foam, steel - they all have wonderful texture.
2) Context - "Everything happens in context" The thing is you can set your own context and creating a beautiful home with things of quality is part of a context enabling a great life.
3) Empowered Customer UR - You are making wise investments in your home environment and we are here to help. You are a designer... We don't want that domain for ourselves - we can work together. You are deserving of quality products at reasonable price. You are smart enough to go direct to the manufacturer. TxTuR is the conduit that ties you directly to the plant. Direct to production efficiency empowers YOU to have more choice and better quality for the same money!

The winning logo design will be:
1) CLEAN
2) Play on the notion of texture and context
3) Applicable online and print. As well as on product tagging.
4) Distilled - the more than can be said with less - the better.
