Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo designed for our event, Discover Davis. This annual event is hosted by the Davis Chamber of Commerce to introduce incoming and returning UC Davis students to the business community. This event encourages students to shop local and get to know the community a little better with the hopes that they will become active stakeholders in the community. Aggie colors are blue and gold, and while the logo could incorporate these colors, we want to assure that it is not mistaken for a UCD event. I've attached our logo, however, incorporating those specific colors are not mandatory.

Chamber background: We are a membership organization of approximately 500 businesses. The chamber was organized in 1905 to recruit the University Farm School to Davis which later became UC Davis.

Event information: This event is a mix of festival and business expo. We will have approximately 35 businesses tabling at the event. The businesses tabling will have giveaways & games. Their purpose for participating is to introduce their business to the students to acquire future customers.

Final design should be appealing to a young audience in the age range of 18-25 (primarily). It should be vibrant and fun and easy to use on a variety of marketing materials.
