Brief de Web Design

We have a logo and now we would like a web site design for our new website. Our small firm provides creative and aggressive transactional (not litigation) legal services to advise healthcare, technology, internet-based and traditional companies and investors in such companies on healthcare, technology, financing, mergers/acquisitions, real estate and other transactions, legal compliance and general corporate and business matters.

We would like to see a website design that is professional and appropriate for executives, professionals, investors and government regulators to visit, that conveys professionalism and competence while being a little edgy and modern - no typical legal motifs such as gavels, books, or scales of justice. We advise businesses and investors and guide them through complicated issues quickly, capably and differently from other law firms. We are part of the business team and get things done.

The logo is attached, and we like gray as a color to complement it. The intention of the logo is to convey that in a storm or challenging time, people come to this firm, and people come to this firm when they need the power and disruption to change things or shake them up.

I have also enclosed a picture of our business card for consideration.

On the other hand, you can check out the current simple site at www.barrack.net to see we have used a space motif in the past to evoke that we help create stars (the nebula featured there). This is not a necessary part of the new website and it may look better without it.

We appreciate your creativity and look forward to designs.
