We need a logo design for a new company based in Maryland called 'Ocean Monterey.' We are a blogging and apparel company focused on technology, fitness, travel, entrepreneurship, and education.

We want to be able to place this logo on clothing but also put it on products such as coffee mugs, coasters, sunglasses, hats, bags, wallets, socks, scarves.

Doit avoir

• Modern Industrial feel. Simplistic, clean design. Few colors. Not necessarily grayscale though. I want the O to be the Orioles O and the M to have a similar script feel. Definitely not opposed to black and white. Think Free People logo with the possibility of something added...

• Ocean (but not ocean colors) & travel influence, the flow (maybe in the lettering?). I'd like the logo to be able to work as both OM and Ocean Monterey. Maybe something offset, one word above the other? Either going with words as a logo or a stand alone logo that associates with the words Ocean Monterey.

Ne doit pas comporter

• Tons of colors. No ocean colors, the blue-ish greenish combo is out for me. Too much detail. No flags. No arrows. This is going to be on clothing to start so we don't need a massive landscape.
