Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo for a Dallas, TX-based company called Van Winkle Aviation LLC. The company focuses on helicopter and aviation consulting, flight training, ferry flights, etc. I would like a bold design that is not too flashy (helicopter aviators are somewhat conservative!). The logo could possibly includes rotor blades or the "swoosh" of rotor blades in it (but this is not a must). The Bell Helicopter logo has a rotor blade swoosh through it but I certainly don't want to copy theirs - just an idea. I don't have a particular set of colors that I prefer for the logo. Also maybe the initials of my last name (VW) or VWA somehow molded together with the company name under or beside the initials.
