Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo design for my Austin based company. I'm a sculpture artist and work on finding beauty through symmetry and harmony. Aequus is latin for equal (equal sign "=") and are represented by the symbols "a" and "e" mirroring each other. Through shadowing I'd like the light to be top left corner and the logo to show a bit of perspective with one letter slanting backward and one forward.
