Brief de Web Design

I'm making a website for my company and need a header image on the site's
front/landing page.

My company runs a managed service which compliments cloud databases. For
example one of our products logs every single sql statement sent to the
database. Another one of our products autoscales the size of the database,
making it bigger when traffic is heavy and making it smaller when traffic
is light.

I'm looking for a clean, simple, elegant design in the header image. If you
google "database icon", you'll see this looks like a barrel. I have two
ideas. Both emphasize human interaction with the database. One is a bunch of
stick figure like people doing things with the database icon. Some are walking
and running around them. Perhaps another is climbing (like a rock climber).
Perhaps another is jumping from one database to another. Perhaps another is
pushing one. This idea is similar to this image:

...except instead of the shoe, we would have database icons. The icons should
be different sizes and colors. I think we need a few of these icons, but
not too many has to make the image too busy.

A second idea is to make a city of database icons. This would be a 3D city
which has database icons indead of buildings. Then we would see people
(and perhaps cars and bicycles) around the city.

These are just my ideas. In general I'm open to any idea as long as it shows
interaction with a few database icons.

[update] Sorry about this, but I think I might have used the term "header image" incorrectly. I'm not a designer by trade so please bear with me. I was looking at https://www.convox.com and noticed what the people there call their header image. You can see it at https://convox.com/assets/images/header-full.png. So I'm looking at something similar. It's basically the main background image. Something the same size as the convox image (~ 2000x700) would be great. Thanks.
