Overview:
Design a holiday themed plaid illustration for a 4-piece dinnerware set that will include a dinner plate, salad plate, bowl, and mug. Each of the four place settings will use the same RED plaid pattern but be treated slightly differently:
dinner plate: the plaid design will be on the outer rim of the plate (center of the plate will be white)
salad plate: the plaid design will cover the entire surface of the plate
bowl: the plaid design will be on the rim of the outside of the bowl, the inside of the bowl will only be white
mug: the plaid design will cover the entire outside surface of the mug and the inside will be white

This dinnerware set is traditional and elegant. It's for the hostess who entertains frequently during the holiday season as well as for the family who wants a bit of holiday flair at their everyday table.

The design should be traditional and simple, and feature a plaid design in a RED color palette; other colors may be incorporated, such as dark green, black, white, as accent colors only, but the main color should be red. The designer should present the design mocked up on the dinner plate, salad plate, bowl, and mug.

Style and color:
Illustration style should lean towards classic and realistic.
Color should be a dominantly darker red palette with accent colors in black/white/green as the designer sees fit.
