Brief de Web Design

Who we are and what we do

Executive London Car is a transportation company offering wide range of standard and executive chauffeur services in England. Our customers are anyone based in Russia and other CIS counties (Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and other) looking to book transportation for when they are coming to England. Please note we are not a taxi company, 99% of our bookings are made in advance and we do not offer car rental.

The Design

A website is an important role within our marketing plan. It needs to be compatible with Wordpress that we will be using as CMS system. Our first choice logo's as blue, however we have inserted orange (file ow) as a wild card.

We would describe the design we are looking for as “clean, informational but uncluttered, professional” and our company as “trustworthy, professional and reliable”. In itself design should not be too heavy or on opposite too feminine, we would be looking for a balance. We have just re-designed our logo and would like designer to “tune” into the design.

Any designs that do not correspond to logo colours and shapes will unfortunately be eliminated straight away. We are looking to develop a concept using some of the existing shapes and fonts of the logo.

Pages

We will be looking to develop a total of 6 design pages. Selection of designer will be made based on the main page and after approval we will be looking to work with designer to develop remaining pages.

We will require the following pages:
1) Main page (including booking system on that page)
2) Our cars
3) Feedback section
4) Book the transfer
5) Standard page for text (will include modules such as news, social, time etc)
6) Excursions list page (will include modules such as news, social, time etc)

Main Page

We are looking for the main page to include the following modules:
- Booking system (you can see how our existing system works, please note we don’t like the design of it)
- Few words about us
- Why choose us (list of reasons)
- Time in the UK
- Weather
- News feed section
- Currency conversion
- What clients think about us
- Event calendar
- Blog feed
- Social media feed
- Large footer where we can insert keywords (links) and licence information
- FAQ

Please embed Social Media buttons (twitter, facebook) on to the main page.

Design dont’s

Unfortunately we cannot accept anything that will have a reference to the Black English Cab, taxi in general or anything that may remind of an existing brand (Mercedes, Bentley etc) or website.

Our competitor websites

We think most of our competitors have good websites. A few notes on what we think of each:
www.london-taxi-transfer.co.uk – very strong website, informative and professional
http://london-airport-transfer.org/ru/ - our favourite competitor site, clean, professional, good concept with blue signs next to headings etc.
http://londonbycar.co.uk/en/1-transfers/ - good design, also very clean, but professional. Please note that colour is the same as we have selected, so we will need to differentiate.
www.en-rus.co.uk/taxi-v-londone.html - very plain, old style

Before you begin

On this occasion we do not require website coding as we have our own programmers.

We will provide more information as requested and each designer will receive feedback on designs submitted.
• Kindly include your turnaround time for this project when submitting your quote.
• The website design can be in PSD but should easily convertible to CSS. You have to provide fonts, buttons and other elements so I can ask third party developer to convert your PSD to CSS.
