Because we are based in Hawaii, We wanted to incorporate that in the logo in some way. Tropics, Ocean, Palms, etc. Nothing to intricate, that is hard to reproduce for advertising, but something fun, or comical, that is easy to associate with our business. We would like it to look good on a shirt or a hat.
