Brief de Web Design

Hello,

We require a front-end design touch up to the website we are currently building. This jewelry website promotes engagement jewelry which is distributed via 3rd party jewelry shops. It needs to look inviting, elegant, bright, and modern. We specialize in elegant, modern, simple, non-cluttered white gold engagement rings, and would like our website to reflect that.

As the website is well on its way to being completed, the scope for redesign is somewhat limited. However, we would like a designer to submit their views on the:
• best layout,
• colour schemes,
• banner choices,
• font and style of writing,
• and images used.
for the home page, the gallery view page and product view pages.

In addition, the homescreen will require a number of banners that will be used in a slideshow, submissions for these are welcome.

Although the structural layout of the website is locked in, we are able to change images, background detail, image sizes, font size, location and size of some elements etc.

This job is for front end design only, only PSD files required.
We would like the designer to pay special attention to ‘gallery-view’ and ‘product-view’ pages and consider the best layout and sizes of images, their accompanying descriptions and the colour pallet.
