Brief de Design Graphique
Socrates is leading developer of ride photography systems and have systems around the world. The photos are sold in photo wallets that are themed to the theme of attraction. Type of attractions are for examples roller coaster, log flume, etc. Common themes are Gold Mine, Wild Mouse, Gold Rush, Thunderloop, to name a few.
The photo wallet (sleeve, folder) folds around a 8x6 inch action photo on the right side (landscape photo) or lower side (portrait photo).
To hold the photo, four cuts are punched inside the four corners of the right half (landscape photo) of the wallet or lower half (portrait photo) .
The design of the wallet continues on the photo leaving an organic gap blending over the taken picture. This is realised by an overlay (the part of the design that covers the photo) that our software will composite on the photo before printing. The result makes the photo with wallet one product.
The size of the wallet is roughly 18x7 inch for a landscape and 7x18 for portrait. We are only looking for the designs of the inside since the outside front will be more or less the same of part of the inside while the outside back will just holding general information, logo’s etc.
We have added some samples of which Van Helsing with lines.jpg shows the whole inside of the wallet, the fold line in the middle, the borders of the photo and the cuts to hold the photo.
We are looking for designers that can do multiple designs per year. To find capable designers we have this design project.
