Brief de Web Design

We want to make a website for an Holding Company that owns other companies' shares in different fields. KG is the name of the holding.
We still do not have a logo or preferred colors for the company. The company, through this website, will send a clear message: it's not important where we are, it's important what we do but more than that why we do what we do.
We search for inspiration in a simple layout because we want that the user feels comfortable and guided while exploring it. The content of the website aspire to be very impressive through one or more background images.

Below, the structure of the pages explained shortly.
To learn more, we have attached a draft of the website.

Home: page with a huge backround image that fill the whole page (maybe is better to merge the navbar with the image top color?).
About: with the same huge background image, we explain which are our fields.
Why: with the same huge background image, we explain which is our why.
Projects: dropdown list with project 1, project 2, project 3. If clicked, a box like about/why pops up in order to explain projects in detail.
