Brief de Design de Logo
We need an embellishment to what's been derived already. Emmy's On Main is a small boutique in Essex, Connecticut - one of the most charming small towns in New England. People travel from all over the world to visit Essex for its history, quaint charm, and unbelievable views of the Connecticut river. Emmy's on Main is a unique boutique right in the heart of downtown offering shoppers whimsical trinkets, clothing, handbags, jewelry, and unique treasures they'd be hard-pressed to find anywhere else.
In terms of logo design, we'd like to keep the typography similar to what's been mocked-up already in a word doc (attached) but with the addition of a custom icon, embellishment, or design element conveying whimsy, fun, and charm. We're open to anything but a few things to keep in mind is that Essex is a sailor's town, very nautical in nature. Although Emmy's On Main isn't necessarily nautical-themed in its product offerings, we want to appeal to that audience - middle-aged females on vacation with their sailor husbands in search of unique souvenirs. We do not want something as blatant as an anchor or a compass... but we also don't want the logo to be TOO whimsical that we lose a subset of our adventure travel/outdoor enthusiast audience.
We're thinking the addition of a pattern/line drawing or an icon or something abstract (not obvious like an anchor or a flower or a star) is the direction we want to head in. Something to make the attached file more unique.
We want a unique brand for Emmy's On Main that can translate to print, outdoor signage, and digital means.

Hi designers! One thing of note: if color is incorporated into your design, we're looking for warm colors. Not ocean colors.. more sunset feminine colors. Also, a less obvious shape is appreciated, we don't want stars or animals.. we're looking for abstract line drawings, patterns, etc.
