Just checked out Terminix. They do have some slightly different ways of emphasising what they do...

First their name is Terminix. (Terminate/Termite) and second they have a tagline "Power over Pests".

Maybe a tag line would make your logo a higher end proposition. Without having images of bugs and other cliched images. Just a thought.

Any more input would as always be valued.
