Brief de Design de Logo

Alawa Productions is a Melbourne based production house that creates ‘engaging content’ across various mediums – visual and word based – moving towards a strong emphasis in utilising the digital sphere.

Alawa Productions needs a solid/unique/fresh Logo to represent the business going forward.

Creative Director Kingsley McGlew is a published writer who utilizes the visual language to add depth to a narrative.

‘Alawa’ is an Aboriginal word that means ‘a place where men are made – an initiation ground’.

Alawa was also the name of the family farm in Morawa, Western Australia. Alawa was branded on the wool bales in black tar. The central colours of the farm were blue sky, red dirt, eucalyptus green and the yellow stubble of the wheat crops.

Projects developed by Alawa Productions are built upon a narrative foundation where a story is shared. Bold characters share the same space as sublime landscape compositions. Alawa Productions also works in a documentary capacity capturing realism.
