Brief de Design de Logo

We've got an existing logo that was good 7 years ago, but feels outdated today. I'd like a new logo for the business that is more casual/fun/creative. I'm happy to keep the icon if it still works, though it may be better to redesign to suit a new font etc...

The business name is 'Digital Domination' and we've used the obvious DD in our icon (see attachments). The new logo will primarily be on the website and some business cards, but rarely in print. For that reason it should be more horizontal in design than vertical - so it takes up less room in the header on the website.

We help businesses by managing their digital marketing and finding new ways to grow their business.

I've attached several styles we've used for the old logo.

I've also attached several logo's I like the look of to give you an idea of styles that may suit us. Some of these will be our competitors, so I'm not looking for an exact copy - rather just showing you concepts.

Definitely leaning more towards a thicker pen style with curves - instead of the current 'Apple' look. Open to colour changes too as this will be a complete re-brand.

Note: I don't like the name in all uppercase as it's harder to read. Also, I don't want any standard boring fonts - if you use those I'll be marking your entry as poor without feedback.

Exigences

Doit avoir

• Must be a non-standard font. If you use common fonts in your submission it'll be rejected. We want to look unique/different. I really like the building boom font that was used in that logo (candy script) and it was manipulated as well so it looked more unique. Other fonts similar in style to candy script would be good to see.
• Also, an icon + text font for the business name and include a style sheet once selected as the winner.

• Something to stand out in a fairly crowded market. We're happy to think differently.

Ne doit pas comporter

• Any large vertical layout as it won't be suitable for 99% of uses.
• Should NOT be all uppercase EG: DIGITAL DOMINATION, for one or both words.
