Brief de Design de Logo

Apartment community needs a fresh new logo. The community name is CYPRESS POINTE APARTMENTS. This complex is small community built among greenery and wide open spaces, and is located near historic Downtown Crown point in Indiana. The apartments are garden style in various 2-story buildings. Need a logo with a graphic that uses a mix of classic and fun fonts. Two or three colors - bright colors that POP! Graphic should be contemporary without being too 'avant garde'. Graphic should be a contrasting color from the wording font. Need something totally opposite from the old and very dated/uninspiring logo (attached).
