Brief de Design de Logo
We need a company logo for our Boardroom Advisory firm called NED (Non-Executive Directors). NED is the nickname that is given to Non-Executive Directors "New Economy Directors" - progressive digital mavens, cyber experts, climate risk and STEM scientists for boards) so we are effectively a recruitment company for board members. It is a highly professional and somewhat conservative market, however we want to be futures and progressive in our design, almost "tech-like" because we want to equip companies with new breed of director - digital, tech, marketing/CX, and cyber experts. We want to give them "New Economy Directors", a new and digitised way of thinking. Hence NED stands for Non-Executive Directors, but really New Economy Directors.

- We want to appear professional with a forward thinking, progressive edge. We want to appeal to Boards seeking Tech, Digital and Cyber type directors so it needs to be almost like a startup tech brand.
- The website domain is neds.global, so our initial thoughts are that it would be a NED with a circle around it the letters to effectively say NED global. We need to be a powerful brand that is appealing to a conservative audience but that also speaks to progress and innovation. We think it will simply be upper case NED. Possibly with N.E.D but we think NED is simple.
- We think a brain or neuroscience like digital brain as a logo backdrop with NED letters would be interesting, let's try this.

- We would like to see something that is clean, and professional with a bit of a progressive edge to it. The traditional boardroom market is being shifted in the US in particular with half of NASDAQ S&P500 company boards appointing first time directors. We want to own this market, think technology, digital, cyber risk, climate risk, marketing / CX skill sets.
- It might have a boardroom chair in the logo, but this could make the logo look a bit naff. We are open to different approaches but essentially we have to be mindful that we can't be too bleeding edge creative because of our target customer.

- It should not have too much going on, simple and slick is the brief. I would say, only a few colours and keep it simple is the philosophy even though our targvet customer is sophisticated, the design wants to be simple and not too much going on.
