Brief de Design de Logo

Tech Mavericks (www.techmavericks.com) is a startup consumer and small business IT consulting & services firm. We seek to provide a one stop solution for consumers and SBs for all IT related needs. Everything from PC repair/support and maintenance, networking, to smart home/office setup, and including but not limited private shopping services and concierge device delivery. When someone says "I have a tech guy/gal" We seek to be that person being referenced.

Our target market is currently Northern Virginia, home to some of the highest median household income counties in America. The area has seen a huge boom in Tech related companies and the preferred market aesthetic we are seeking indicates modern + technology + comfortable. "Modern convenience" is probably the most accurate phrase I can describe.

Our office can be best described as modern home + technology. Think google home, smart thermostats, white/gray/navy and light wood color pallet with white trim/accents (the logo does not have to use these colors but we aren't opposed to that as well).

Things we want to avoid:

1) Use of the color orange
2) Serifed or Handwritten font, custom type is ok though
3) A logo that is so upmarket it suggest a high price point for services
4) A logo that suggests budget prices and services
5) Anything cowboy or top gun related (common popular uses of maverick, we prefer the true definition).

Things we are ambivalent about:
1) We are fine if the symbol is above the type, to the left or right, below, or incorporated into the type.
2) Color scheme left up to designer with the understanding to avoid orange
3) All caps / starting letter caps / all lower case, although all caps can't be too agressive
4) TechMavericks together as one word or two separate words. They can even be one word with two separate colors to denote separation or some other way of doing so.

Exigences

Doit avoir

• 1) Modern design that incorporates technology in a creative/clever way.
• 2) Symbol + Type is a must, the symbol and type should be able to stand alone of each other given different applications. Logos that incorporate both into one design (i.e. emblems) are ok too.
• 3) Easily legible but modern Sans-Serif font.
• 4) Versatility, the logo should look good in black and white as well as your chosen color scheme

• minimal to semi-flat designs work for us but aren't required, clever use of negative space is a plus
