Is the teddy bear meant to represent problems people have? or is it like a blanquet, or protection that your centre gives to the people to help them overcome their problems?

Great question - it is sort of both. Many years ago the CEO of a huge corporation spoke to my group and said that he has his childhood teddy bear in a little rocking chair my his bed. He had told his wife that no matter how she decorated their home that the teddy bear in the rocking chair would have to be included. Whenever people said mean and hurtful things to him or if he had a bad day - he wanted to always be able to look at or hold the Teddy Bear to know that we all have bad days and problems. He said that the Teddy Bear symbolized that we all have issues and that the person who had given him a hard time had issues and that's why they would lash out (bully) him.

To me the Teddy Bear symbolizes our struggles in life and how we can love ourselves and others in spite of these struggles.
