Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo / masthead for a monthly magazine. Every 2 or 3 years we do a redesign, but this year we are renaming and rebranding the magazine. Since the 1940's, this magazine has been called the "Pentecostal Herald", it will now be called "Pentecostal Life". It is the official magazine of the United Pentecostal Church International. I've attached the previous two logos and magazine covers using those logos. The design needs to be much more than a logo - it needs to look appropriate as the masthead of a monthly magazine (think Time, Billboard, Vogue, GQ, Fast Company). Since the word "Pentecostal" is a holdover word from the previous name, and "Life" is the new element, we would like the word "Life" to be emphasized.
