Brief de Design de Logo

Hi. New business start-up needs logo.
It is to teach English language and will be appealing to international markets and the United Kingdom.
I would like midnight blue to feature but am open-minded to other colours; eg. darker reds (although not with the blue). Definitely not orange, yellow or pink. I will be interested to see if midnight blue forms the background or lettering. White or silver might look best for the corresponding colour (either background or lettering).
Text is lower case for 'english timetable' but will consider ET to be included in uppercase.
It has to appeal to all ages although I suspect the majority of students to be 15-25 so something cool and contemporary but elegant too would be great.
I currently remain very open minded to ideas and do not want to preempt any creativity at this point.
