Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a new branded blog called "C5 Cogency". We publish content on how to market businesses online and sell products and consulting to further assist with the marketing needs of our audience. We want a design that conveys authority and transparency. We're open to a variety of colors, be creative. Colors we'd like to see Red, Gold, Purple, Orange. Choose any of them, or any combo, we want to see creativity. Update: Please, no literal interpretations of the examples. I don't want to see one of the examples below in a new color or a different font. I want these examples to be influences for "NEW" creations.
