Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo design for a new company based in the San Francisco Bay Area called Pro Audio Voices, providing voiceover services (including sound effects and music) for Animation, Audiobooks, Advertising.

Here's what I'm envisioning at this point* (and I'm open to interpretation and other ideas based on this concept): I would love to see a silver screen sort of background with a stack of 3 books with one each of the words of "Pro Audio Voices" on the book spines. Sitting on top (or maybe with a stand that starts lower and we see the top or stand along the side is a microphone, with a cartoon dog figure either sitting on the books holding the mic stand on a tilt for an invisible person (or possibly sitting at the base of the stand). Cartoon dog should probably be on the left side of the mic with tail curling to point at the "Pro" and looking up at the mic to help the focus bring in the mic and draw down to the words on the book spines.
I would like the cartoon dog to then be able to be integrated as a logo character and will pay extra for each pose of the character as an add on to this project.

*I've uploaded a pieced together idea. I'd rather see the stack of books with more spine toward the viewer and the mic stand not obscured but going behind the books and a 'silver screen' style background. The dog could possibly be wearing headphones, but that might just be too much.

My website is proaudiovoices.com and the colors are blue/green mostly. I want something that will look good on the site but will not disappear. It should communicate fun and professionalism.
