Brief de Design de Logo

We are building a dating and meeting site for the polyamorous community (Polyamory is the practice of or desire for intimate relationships with more than one partner, with the knowledge of all partners). The name is "HelloPoly!" which should be the main piece of the logo. Additionally the logo should have some(a) character(s) or a symbol. See "Nice to Haves" in the Brief for the two main directions this logo should take.

• In general we like bright colors that pop, with a clean vector look, making it fun and energetic. The use of hearts or romantic elements might look good, but in moderation if at all (see okcupid logo).

Bien d'avoir

• One direction for the logo is using "poly" in the sense of the bird (polly can be used to refer to parrots in english) and specifically the breed known as "love birds" as an element of the logo (image attached). Being a site for focused on polyamorous people, two birds is not an option, it should be either 1 or 3 or many, this is an important requirement. Also since there is a famous bird brand (twitter) it would need to be quite distinct from that. We like the love bird color scheme, but it should not be too pastel or soft. Finally the animals can be cartoony, but still vector based, not too complex, clean. I'm including a cartoon animal logo that looks good to us.
• An alternative direction is to make a symbol that shows the multi-faceted element of a polyamorous relationship, like a heart made of multiple pieces (sample image attached). The universal poly icon that is used for the community is a heart with an infinity symbol wrapped around it (image attached). An original take on that symbol could be very appealing.
