Brief de Design de Logo

I am preparing to open a marketing firm. However, I have no graphic design background and need a kick ass logo. The firm name is Deviant Marketing. We're focused on Facebook marketing primarily, but handle anything in the digital marketing space. We anticipate that many of our clients will be law firms. But I fucking hate the boring crap that most law firms associate with (gavels, scales, etc.) I'd like something different and would love to stick with a color scheme in Orange.

• Please note that I was required to upload a file here, so I inlcuded the gog awful thing I made that caused my wife ask "Why is there a spider on your logo?" To which I replied "it's an ant. D...V...Ant." She responded "That's fucking dumb, people will think that's a spider. Go hire a graphic designer." So here we are. (In my defense, I have no art or graphic design background, I just needed a placeholder image to get a temporary website up).
