Brief de Design de Logo

Barrier Seal is a Waterproofing and Joint Sealing business located in Brisbane, QLD, AUSTRALIA. Waterproofing is a process where you create a barrier on a particular surface to stop water from penetrating through. In the case of wet areas, the waterproofing is usually tiled over. Joint sealing is a process where either a silicone or polyurethane sealant is applied to the tiled joint to allow for movement. I've always had an interest in design, especially in the sports side (sport team logos) and would like to have some sort of mascot to represent my business. Barry the seal needs to be incorporated into the design some how, some way whether that be comical or corporate. I was originally thinking along the lines of a mean looking seal with his two front flippers hanging over a BS in sport font, but I am open to all ideas. There is also the possibility to design the business card after the logo has been approved so you will need to think about this when designing the logo as i believe that a business card is not just a card but a piece of art and will be looking at producing a unique shape, style, concept. The Logo must also include element of water as this is a major aspect of what i do. The colours i'm drawn to are black, grey, blue, white, green and of all different shades and tones including pastels etc. You may use as many or as little of these as you wish. Im also open to other colours.
