The festival will be run by the Earthly Delights Historic Dance Academy 7-9 June 2014 and then in June each year.
The design needs to be able to work as a logo and as a t-shirt design. If you also design posters please let us know as we need a poster as well.

I've been speaking with colleagues about the logo and they mentioned there are two items that people living here attach to the name "Canberra" - and that is the Black Mountain Tower and the other is the Parliament House Flagpole. You can google both "Canberra Black Mountain Tower" and "Canberra Parliament House Flagpole". Sometimes using one of these in a logo makes it stand out, particularly useful for a logo, and as Canberra is the capital city of Australia. Anyway, just an idea, another option. The designs are looking very promising :)

- Earthly Delights uses purple and gold. These could be used, I also thought that orange is a nice colour to bring in.
I have uploaded a picture of our dance troupe performing on stage at the National Gallery of Australia - love these colours!
If you think the logo would be better with the web address please use it. Its optional, and if you have used it or not will not affect our final decision. We hope to work with the designer to get a design that is perfect! Again, colours are optional as well.
