Brief de Design de Logo

I am in need of a logo representing 'The CSMO'.

CSMO stands for 'Chief Sales and Marketing Officer' and is a known term in the software industry. I am relaunching my consulting business under this name to represent the broad experience I have across sales and marketing functional disciplines.

I have no fixed design concepts and I am open to all suggestions, although I do not want anything gimmicky, it has to be business oriented. However, the only one element I do think about is that 'CSMO' is the most important attribute and 'The' is less relevant, but I'm open to concept ideas.

Using conceptual images as part of the design is welcomed to help embellish 'The CSMO' logo and positioning, the logo does not have to be just the letters (but that is an option).

Keep in mind 'The CSMO' logo will be used in numerous ways (website, business cards, email signature, documents, social media, etc.) so it needs to work well across various mediums.

As for colors, again I am open to suggestions but they need to be business oriented and work across different mediums. Typically my personal preference in colors would be the darker colors and most likely blues or reds but I am really open to seeing alternatives that would work on different backgrounds.

And as for font style, I typically do not like the heavy use of italic but I may be open to that if it made sense for 'The' being smaller and italic to emphasize the 'CSMO’.

One last thought, I have a network of business and software professionals that I work with to deliver the consulting services to my clients, if that helps create some ideas for the logo then great, but its not essential.
