Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo for a foundation. A short description for of the activities/goals:

The foundation aims to represent the interests of hearing impaired people in the northern Netherlands, in the broadest sense. The foundation seeks to achieve this by supporting activities and taking measures aimed at the integration of hearing impaired people in society. Furthermore, it supports research and development of equipment for hearing impaired persons

Our ideas regarding the logo is that it should be 'serious' but not boring and ofcourse it may have references to our activities.
