Brief de Design de Logo

Calling all creative graphic artists!

Meteor Crater, an impact site located in the high desert of northern Arizona, is looking to refresh the current logo. We have used our logo for over 40 years and it is time to REFRESH it. We have built brand/name recognition so we don't want to completely revise it. Once again, we are only looking for designers who want to REFRESH a logo.

The design scope includes:

MOTION! The asteroid traveled at 26,000 mph so the refreshed logo needs to reflect some serious speed.
HEAT! Things got really hot as the impact occurred. Think 20 million tons of TNT. Boom!
LEGIBLE! We have over 250,000 visitors and many are traveling like a meteor on the interstate, so when they blow by one of our billboards, they need to easily read the logo. We are looking for a contemporary font upgrade.
BOLD! The colors of the logo need pop on a variety of advertising and signage, for example, Facebook; Magazine ads; outdoor billboards; digital advertising; online video, website, merchandising.
IMPACT! The result of the impact 50,000 years ago is a hole 1 mile wide and 1/2 mile deep which only took seconds to form. Logo needs to reflect this and work in multiple file formats.
