the book is about the oncoming devastation to the global job market in the next 12 years. (it is anticipated 120 million jobs in the uk and usa alone will be lost) but it is also talking about how the new technology and internet based businesses have the answer to mass migration of work onto the internet ... upgrading the concept of work.
