Brief de Design de Logo

We need a new logo design, including new color scheme, for a 39 year old nonprofit agency in Dallas, TX. Housing Crisis Center's mission is to prevent and end homelessness for US Military Veterans, families with children, and those with disabilities. The final design will convey that we not only offer housing solutions but hope. We would like to see designs that are vivid and very eye catching. We are leaning toward using red as part of the color scheme. We would like to add a tag line at a later date and need a logo that works well in black and white too. We do not want the main art element to be our name. We also will need a variation with our initials of HCC. We do not want anything similar to our current logo.(attached)
