Johnston's Cranberry Marsh is a family-owned cranberry farm in Ontario, Canada. The brand values are quality, family and environmental stewardship. Muskoka Lakes Winery was founded on the idea of 'terroir' - or taste of place. Wines should reflect the land that produced them and, since grapes don't grow in Muskoka, the winery works primarily with cranberries and blueberries. Johnston's Cranberry Marsh & Muskoka Lakes Winery are two parts of the same company. Logos are used together and separately. Because they can appear together, they need to compliment each other.

Doit avoir
- The logos need to compliment each other but be somewhat distinct.
Bien d'avoir
- I have included our old logos as well as logos from different companies. We have used cranberries as our logo image, but that doesn't have an emotional impact. I included the Clear Lake logo because the image of the boy jumping into the lake evokes an emotional response and speaks to summer, nostalgia, clear, clean water, etc. The two 'Muskoka' logos have been included because they use the 'iconic' Muskoka chair in their design. The Stony Creek logo uses a heron, which is a marshland creature and may speak to environmental stewardship as well as the historic name 'crane berry.' (cranberries were named after the sandhill cranes native to the cranberry bogs). I'd like the logos to convey a brand message and/or evoke an emotional response.
- I'd like to get away from the borders and create a more open logo design. It might be possible to include cranberries in a logo image to make it unique.
