Brief de Design de Logo

Would like to redesign company logo for a Hospitalist group that practices hospital medicine. The group is Advance Inpatient Medicine, or AIM. Keep in mind this logo will be eventually used on website, letterhead, business cards, etc. The old logo was ugly; looking for something both professional looking and more modern. The old logo had small graphic with acronym AIM and below it words Advance Inpatient Medicine. I attached part of old logo.

Perhaps for redesign keep the logo similar color largely (blues/grays); feel free to either tweak the shapes, or come up with something creative and completely new; perhaps adding a small silhouette of hospital.
