Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a new company selling LED based products online.

The company is called "The LED Company" and we are based in the UK selling to UK customers for now - but would like to sell globally eventually.

The company will sell quality innovative products which all have the common factor of using LED's in some way or another, this range includes simple led lighting, torches, light-bars and automotive upgrades, commercial lighting, outdoor and garden lighting and gadgets.

We group these into 4 main product groups, 1-Homes, 2-SME's, 3-Automotive, 4-Outdoor Pursuits.

Our aim is to provide quality products that save you money, save the environment, provide happiness and provide them with long no quibble guarantees that get customers coming back over and over again.

We mostly will focus on the return on investment with LED products, where they are replacing traditional lighting they really do make sense.

We would like the logo to portray the idea of quality, environmentally friendly and smart (as in the opposite of dumb), we like quirky and clever, especially clever. LED's are a simple but very clever piece of technology that help almost everyone every day. Oh and did i forget to mention.. they save you money, electricity is expensive

The design should speak of a company that is innovative, loves the use of technology, provides quality products with a global outlook into the future.

I would like to see your views on whether the "LED" part of the name should be caps or not?

i would also like to receive your ideas on a suitable strapline to go with the logo perhaps?

Finally i will just say that i love agile marketing and want to build both domestic and commercial brands that engage users with relevant witty marketing.

Target Market: Domestic Homes, Commercial SME's, Automotive, Outdoor Pursuits

I am keep to portray an image that is cool, exciting, technical. Mens sort of stuff if that makes sense.

Should Not Haves: Orange Colour, i have a competitor that uses orange

• the led symbol that has two legs coming from it (the anode and the cathode) the led products we sell do not use these type of leds, also i dont like the light bulb idea so please avoid this.
