Really sorry to say, but if you are not winning any contest than doing this is not really great. Suppose if more than 100 designers are designing a running human figure with a bag in his hand. Than it is quiet possible that the designs can match to each other somehow. I gone through your link, and i can say, Selected design is not a copy, unfortunately there may be some similarity. The batter way is let the owner go to copyright it. if he/she/they are not able to do it, than you can ask him to select your design or any other design.
This kind of actions are not good for all the designers and also for the contest holder and DC.
As a designer i can say (In this situation may be you are not agree with me) we all go to google for some ideas, but it does not mean that we are wrong. everyone do it. And we do not need to worry about it, D.C. always take care of this.

After careful consideration of the claims made by I Design, which were serious, we found that there was no substance of the claims whatsoever nor in any way.

We are disappointed that designers on this site would claim that other designers had copied a design to prevent them from winning the prize, when in fact they had not copied the design.

Such activity is not honest in our opinion.

After seeking legal advise we feel there is absolutely no substance to the claims made by I DESIGN, this was a disappointing and needless thing which may now affect our relationship with the winning designer of the contest.

We reached out to designcrowd directly, and they've reassured us, thanks. Sorry I Design, but please do not make false claims on this site,

Hello I Design,

The designs do not match. We cannot use logo for trademark reasons which is not unique, so this is a major legal issue for us. And if designers cannot be honest, then we have a serious problem.

After seeking professional advice, and the designcrowd.com website ourselves, we have been assured that the designs are different and are not copied.

In any which case liability then would be on the designer and designcrowd, so we have made sure that we are covered, in terms of breach of contract.

Please note if there is no substance to the claims, it is dishonest activity this kind of behaviour your partaking in,
