Brief de Design de Logo

This is the logo design for Freebooksy, a site that lists free ebooks. The idea is that we scour the web looking for free ebooks, and then list them on the site. We also send a weekly email with the list of free books to all subscribers. The service is 100% free and requires no registration (unless you want to get the emails).

Our philosophy is that that free is a great price. The logo should reflect our whimsical nature and concentration on free. Our current colors are Red and Grey, but we are open to changing that if the logo would work better with different colors.

Our focus is on ebooks, which work on devices like the Kindle, Nook, or iPad.

Because our efforts are largely based in social media, it's important that the logo work well as a square (facebook posts, twitter posts) as well as horizontal for the masthead on the site.

Hi designers,

I just posted this in the discussion but wanted to make sure everyone saw it. We noticed that lots of the logos incorporate paper books or pages of books into the design. While it looks cool, Freebooksy is focused on free books for eReaders like the Kindle or iPad so it would be nice if any imagery focused around tablets rather than paper books.
