Brief de Design de Logo

I am looking for a fairly simple logo for my counselling practice. I am based in Toronto, Canada. Since my work concentrates on the RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PARENT AND CHILD, I would like my logo to reflect that. I am open to the relationship between two people or two animals (elephant mom/child or giraffe mom/child).
I like the idea of a the graphic being in a circle, to the left of the words "PEARSON COUNSELLING". Ideally, each word should be a different colour (use the 2 darkest colours in the attached colour file).
There are a lot of cliché logos with this out there (please see attached logos that are NOT unique that I DO NOT want) - so I am looking for something unique. I have suggested a circle but am open to other ideas if they work.
Attached is a simple logo - ONLY to give some idea of POSITIONING of the circle/graphic relative to the text.
I wouldn't mind seeing an example with parents.families.children is lined up underneath Pearson Counselling. Not with periods but with dots between.

• A unique graphic. I am looking for a clean logo. I don't want any boxes or background surrounding the words Pearson Counselling. As well, the logo could be PEARSONCOUNSELLING (each word in a different colour); or PEARSON Counselling (each word in a different colour); or COUNSELLING could be nested underneath PEARSON.
• My colour palates are attached down below unless a designer wows me with a different combination that is unique and suite for a therapist's website. I think that I want the circular graphic to the left of the text.
