Brief de Design de Logo

We are a software company with offices in different EU countries. Our product is a data intelligence platform with beautiful visualizations, graph capabilities, powerful, flexible, it can manage Big Data and Streaming information. Our company provides data intelligence for law enforcements, pharmaceuticals, and similar high end customers.

WHAT WE NEED?
A new logo for a component of our product: Vanguard. At the moment we're not satisfied with the Vanguard logo, it doesnt seem in line with the others which we like a lot.
Vanguard is the backend infrastructure, a sort of "engine" for our platform. It's used to grab the data from multiple databases/datasets, it's a high tech technology for crossing/correlating large amounts of data., some element of high tech /advanced in the logo are welcomed, but still retaining the elegance of the other logos.
