Brief de Design de Logo

I need a logo for my new business In Squamish, BC. It is an Automotive shop providing a variety of services. This logo will be on a large sign on the front of the building which faces highway 99. (sign is horizontally longer than it is tall so design should be linear). The logo will also be used in marketing, staff clothing, and letterheads. I would like this logo to convey professionalism, as well as a sense of being on the cutting edge. Feel free to include any type of graphic; however I would like to refrain from using silly animations like a guy under the hood of a car or something, totally played out. But you are the creative ones so please, create! My client base will be made up of literally everyone under the sun, as well as this business is in my hometown, so I want it to be inviting for all people. The shop is surrounded by other automotive shops so I am looking to standout with something new and fresh, with a modern touch. I wouldn't object to some sort of industrial element to the logo. I feel like I am bad at describing this because I have no idea what I'm talking about so please feel free to ask questions. Thank you so much and good luck!
