Brief de Design de Logo

We need a logo design for a church based in the Salt Lake, UT area. We are currently going through a rebranding and want to start with a logo and then update our signage and website.

I have uploaded our current logo. We would like to keep mountains in our logo but only have Discovery Christian Community as text. Would love for it to have modern and minimalist feeling to it.

We don't have any colors but are using this rebranding to find a color scheme. So feel free to use color of your choosing.

The final product should be targeted to the demographic of young families as that is our target audience. The final product should communicate: new, transformational, welcoming/inviting, and refreshing.

**UPDATE**
Hey I talked with my boss and showed him some that we have received so far. He would like to see "DCC" incorporated into the mountains and to have snow on the mountains because of our locations. I have attached a sketch that he included in our conversations.
